Got to paint this beautiful bathroom today in Brookline mass. The ceiling was damaged from last years ice storms so the home owner took the opportunity to renovate during the repair. They installed a linear floor drain in the shower. The floor is pitched to the back wall with no need for a door on the shower. A super soaker tub was also installed, a new must for every bathroom. Here we are putting the finishing touches on a custom desk we built in The North End of Boston. There was no room left in the kitchen for this desk so we decided to build it in this little space available between two chimneys. The top part will have 4 panel doors with matching drawer fronts on the bottom.
This is the final corner piece of the window seat project on Fulton st. in the North End in Boston. Notice the detail where we decided to leave the brick exposed in the back of the seat. This what’s not in the original plan but seemed to make sense during the construction process. The owner was very happy. I try never to cover brick when ever possible.
This was a great day. Here we stained a full two story rough cut pine board barn. We sprayed it with a Wagner electric air sprayer and backed brushed it with extra stiff 4″inch brushes. It took a total of 20 gallons of Cabot’s oil based natural stain. It looked like a fine piece of antique furniture when it dried.
